Understanding a Balanced Stitch

What is a balanced 4 thread overlock stitch - it means that the upper and lower looper threads meet at the edge of the fabric. If the lower looper comes up on the top then the upper looper thread tension may be too tight and the lower looper thread tension may be too loose. Adjust the tensions equally until both threads meet at the edge of the fabric.

Coming SOON - a quick holiday serger project.
